لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ١
I swear by the Day of Resurrection. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ ٢
And by oath of the soul that reproaches itself. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ ٣
Does man assume that We will never assemble his bones? — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ ٤
Surely yes, why not? We can properly make all his phalanxes. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ ٥
In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ٦
He asks, “When will be the Day of Resurrection?” — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ ٧
So when the eyes will be blinded by light. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ ٨
And the moon will be eclipsed. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ ٩
And the sun and the moon will be united. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ ١٠
On that day man will cry out, “Where shall I flee?” — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ ١١
Never! There is no refuge! — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ ١٢
On that day, the station is only towards your Lord. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ ١٣
On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌۭ ١٤
In fact, man himself is keeping an eye on his state of affairs! — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ ١٥
And even if he presents all the excuses he has, none will be listened to. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ ١٦
O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), do not cause your tongue to move along with the Qur’an in order to learn it faster. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ ١٧
Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ ١٨
So when We have read it, you should thereupon follow what is read. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ ١٩
Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ ٢٠
None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ ٢١
And you have forsaken the Hereafter. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاضِرَةٌ ٢٢
On that day, some faces will shine with freshness. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌۭ ٢٣
Looking toward their Lord. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌۭ ٢٤
And on that day some faces will be ghastly. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌۭ ٢٥
Knowing that they will be subjected to a torment that breaks the backs. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ ٢٦
Yes indeed, when the soul will reach up to the throat. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍۢ ٢٧
And they will say, “Is there any one – any magician?” — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ ٢٨
And he will realise that this is the parting. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ ٢٩
And one shin will curl up with the other shin. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ ٣٠
On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ ٣١
Neither did he believe it to be true, nor did he offer the prayer. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ٣٢
But he denied and turned away. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ ٣٣
Then he went back to his home in pride. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ ٣٤
Your ruin has come close, still closer. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ ٣٥
Again your ruin has come close, still closer. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى ٣٦
Does man assume that he will be let loose? — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ ٣٧
Was he not just a drop of the semen that is discharged? — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ٣٨
He then became a clot – so Allah created him, then made him proper. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ ٣٩
So created from him a pair, the male and female. — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ٤٠
So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? — Kanz ul-Iman (کنزالایمان)
