وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ ءَاتَيْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَأَهُۥ زِينَةًۭ وَأَمْوَٰلًۭا فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا رَبَّنَا لِيُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِكَ ۖ رَبَّنَا ٱطْمِسْ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَٱشْدُدْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ ٨٨
اور موسیٰ نے عرض کی اے رب ہمارے تو نے فرعون اور اس کے سرداروں کو آرائش اور مال دنیا کی زندگی میں دیے، اے رب ہمارے! اس لیے کہ تیری راہ سے بہکادیں، اے رب ہمارے! ان کے مال برباد کردے اور ان کے دل سخت کردے کہ ایمان نہ لائیں جب تک دردناک عذاب نہ دیکھ لیں
And Moosa prayed, “Our Lord! You have given Firaun and his chiefs adornment and wealth in the life of this world, our Lord, that they may lead astray from Your path; our Lord! Destroy their riches and harden their hearts so that they may not accept faith until they witness the painful punishment.”
