وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ مَالَ ٱلْيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ ۖ وَأَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَٱعْدِلُوا۟ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۖ وَبِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْفُوا۟ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ ١٥٢
اور یتیموں کے مال کے پاس نہ جاؤ مگر بہت اچھے طریقہ سے جب تک وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچے اور ناپ اور تول انصاف کے ساتھ پوری کرو، ہم کسی جان پر بوجھ نہیں ڈالتے مگر اس کے مقدور بھر، اور جب بات کہو تو انصاف کی کہو اگرچہ تمہارے رشتہ دار کا معاملہ ہو اور اللہ ہی کا عہد پورا کرو، یہ تمہیں تاکید فرمائی کہ کہیں تم نصیحت مانو،
‘And do not approach the wealth of an orphan except in the best manner, till he reaches his adulthood; and measure and weigh in full, with justice; We do not burden any soul except within its capacity; and always speak fairly, although it may be concerning your relative; and be faithful only to Allah’s covenant; this is commanded to you, so that you may accept advice.’”
