وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّۭى ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ ٦١
اور اگر اللہ لوگوں کو ان کے ظلم پر گرفت کرتا تو زمین پر کوئی چلنے والا نہیں چھوڑتا لیکن انہیں ایک ٹھہرائے وعدے تک مہلت دیتا ہے پھر جب ان کا وعدہ آئے گا نہ ایک گھڑی پیچھے ہٹیں نہ آگے بڑھیں،
Were Allah to seize people on account of their injustices, He would not have left anyone walking on the earth, but He gives them respite up to an appointed promise; then when their promise comes they cannot go back one moment nor come forward.
